Canada Cup 1981 – White T-Shirt

R$186.25

  • The 1981 Canada Cup was only the second time the best professional players from six nations competed together in this format.

  • The tournament was played in four Canadian cities: Edmonton, Winnipeg, Montreal and Ottawa.

  • It was originally scheduled for 1979 but postponed twice — once due to organizational disputes and once because of international politics.

  • The Soviet team was not allowed to take the physical Canada Cup trophy home after winning — a decision that almost sparked a diplomatic conflict.

  • Soviet goalie Vladislav Tretiak was named tournament MVP despite team Canada outshooting the Soviets in the final.
