JOFA is a Swedish hockey equipment brand founded in 1957, originally focused on protective gear rather than sticks or skates. The brand became especially famous for its helmets, many of which are still instantly recognizable decades later. One of the most iconic hockey images of all time is Wayne Gretzky wearing a JOFA helmet, something he continued to do even as helmet designs evolved around him. JOFA helmets were known for their distinct shape and minimal padding, reflecting an era when protection was secondary to vision and comfort. During the 1980s and early 1990s, JOFA equipment was widely used in both the NHL and international play, linking European and North American hockey culture. The JOFA name eventually disappeared from the ice after brand consolidation, but remains deeply associated with classic hockey aesthetics.

A Length

Place the end of a measuring tape beside the collar at the top of the garment (high point shoulder). Pull the tape to the bottom of the item.

B Width

Place the end of a measuring tape at one side of the chest area and pull the tape across to the other side of the product.

C Sleeve length

Place the end of a measuring tape at the center back of the collar, then pull the tape along the top seam of the sleeve. When you get to the shoulder hold the tape in place at the shoulder and continue to pull down the sleeve until you reach the hem of the sleeve.
