KOHO is a Canadian hockey equipment brand founded in 1969, becoming widely known during the 1970s and 1980s. The brand gained a strong reputation for its sticks, particularly during a period when wood sticks dominated the game. KOHO sticks were commonly used by NHL players known for powerful slap shots and a direct, physical playing style. The brand was especially visible during the 1980s and early 1990s, when its logo regularly appeared in televised NHL games. As composite stick technology emerged in the 1990s, KOHO gradually faded from top-level play, but remains closely associated with a classic era of hockey equipment.
