About

Dump & Chase is built around a simple idea - that the visual history of hockey still matters.

Over time, team identities change. Equipment brands are bought, merged, or disappear entirely. Sponsorships come and go. Logos that once sat on helmets, sticks, rink boards, or warm-up jackets are gradually replaced and, in many cases, forgotten.

This project is about keeping those logos, brands, and the craft behind them from disappearing.

Not from a purely nostalgic point of view, but as part of the game’s material history, the leagues, manufacturers, sponsors, and expansion teams that shaped how hockey looked and felt in different eras. Before digital design systems and standardized branding, these logos were part of the everyday fabric of the sport.

Dump & Chase collects and reintroduces some of that visual language in a contemporary format.

The aim is not to modernize it or reinterpret it, but simply to acknowledge where the game has been - and to keep parts of that history visible.
