Daoust is one of the oldest names in hockey equipment, founded in Canada in 1891, long before the NHL existed. The brand became especially known for its skates, worn by players during an era when equipment was heavier, stiffer, and far less forgiving than today. Daoust skates were commonly used throughout the Original Six era and remained visible well into the 1970s, particularly among Canadian players. Unlike many later equipment brands, Daoust maintained a strong focus on traditional craftsmanship, with skates often customized or modified by local pro shops. As composite materials and mass-production took over in the late 20th century, Daoust gradually disappeared from top-level play, but the name remains familiar to anyone who followed hockey before the modern equipment boom.

A Length

Place the end of a measuring tape beside the collar at the top of the garment (high point shoulder). Pull the tape to the bottom of the item.

B Width

Place the end of a measuring tape at one side of the chest area and pull the tape across to the other side of the product.

C Sleeve length

Place the end of a measuring tape at the center back of the collar, then pull the tape along the top seam of the sleeve. When you get to the shoulder hold the tape in place at the shoulder and continue to pull down the sleeve until you reach the hem of the sleeve.
